3. Nature of Services

The exact scope of each service depends upon the service selected by the customer, the information provided by the customer and the requirements of the concerned authority.

4. No Guarantee of Result

Nagrik Setu does not guarantee that any complaint, RTI application, appeal, representation, application, request, certificate, licence, government scheme application or other submission will be accepted, approved, processed or resolved in favour of the customer.

The final decision regarding any application, complaint, RTI request, appeal, representation or other matter rests entirely with the concerned government department, public authority, officer or other competent authority.

The payment of a Nagrik Setu service fee is a payment for the assistance or service provided by Nagrik Setu and does not constitute or imply payment for obtaining a favourable government decision.

5. Government Rules and Procedures

Government rules, regulations, forms, fees, procedures, eligibility conditions, office addresses, timelines and departmental requirements may change from time to time.

Although reasonable efforts may be made to provide useful and accurate information, Nagrik Setu does not guarantee that every piece of information published on this website will always reflect the latest notification, circular, order, rule or procedure issued by a government authority.

Customers are encouraged to verify important information with the concerned official authority before taking any significant action.

6. Complaint Assistance

Nagrik Setu is not the Public Information Officer, First Appellate Authority or any other government authority responsible for responding to an RTI application.

The availability of information, response to an RTI request, applicable exemptions, processing time and final decision are determined solely by the concerned public authority under the applicable law.

Customers must ensure that all documents, identification information, statements, evidence and other material submitted to Nagrik Setu are genuine, accurate and legally obtained.
